Recently AYANEO began selling its AM02 mini-PC, it is just in the market after 2 months of its showcase and now after this product has started selling, the AYANEO FLIP series is available for advance ordering all over the world. Before launching in the market it has gone through many changes mainly with having a second display with a secondary model.
AYANEO FLIP series Is available in 2 different variants which are FLIP KB and FLIP DS, And these both Have different keyboards and there are supporting displays. The rest specifications are the same – 650 g and 180 x 102 x 29.8 mm housings, or 37.5 mm when measuring from their grips. By reading their hardware you can able to know more about both variants.
In the flip series, we can come across two different types of processors – AMD Ryzen 7 7840U and Ryzen 7 8840U APUs. The only major difference between them is that ‘Ryzen AI’ Is available in Ryzen 7 8840U, The rest of the specifications are the same which include LPDDR5X RAM, a PCIe 4.0 SSD, and a 45 Wh battery. In this, a new large area is also introduced which has a volume of 6243 mm² for a vapor-changing cooling system.
This series also has amazing ports for data transfer like OCuLink (SFF-8612) port that delivers 64 Gbps effective bandwidth, plus a USB4 (40 Gbps) connection and a USB Type-C port for data transfer at up to 10 Gbps. FLIP KB Variant consists of a Ryzen 7 7840U APU, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB of storage And will be available at $699 While FLIP DS Value is $739 and it has a Ryzen 7 8840U, 64 GB of RAM, and a 2 TB SSD.
The expected date By which the company will be able to start delivering is March 2024 for Ryzen 7 7840U and for Ryzen 7 8840U it is April 24.
