ByteDance, the parent company of the viral short video app TikTok, has launched its text-to-video platform Jimeng AI. This tool will create videos based on text prompts given by users. Images can also be created with the help of Jimeng AI. Jimeng AI has been introduced for both iOS and Android, although at present it can be used only in China.
According to the report, Jimeng AI cannot be used for free. You will have to take a subscription for Jimeng AI. Jimeng AI will compete with Runway, Pika AI and OpenAI Sora in this market. Jimeng AI has been developed by Faceu Technology, a company owned by ByteDance. Jimeng AI was launched on August 6, although it was launched for Android on July 31.

Jimeng AI plans & price
According to the report, the price of Jimeng AI’s subscription plan is 69 Chinese Yuan i.e. around Rs 808 which is monthly, however, if you go for auto-renewal then you will have to pay this price. If you take it for one month then you will have to pay 79 Chinese Yuan i.e. around Rs 926. The price of the annual plan is 659 Chinese Yuan i.e. around Rs 7,726. In all plans, users will be able to create 2,050 images and 168 videos every month.
