In this article, we reviewed Motorola’s cheapest phone Moto G13. Moto G13 has a MediaTek Helio Processor and a 50-MP triple rear camera setup. The phone has a slim and premium design with a 90Hz display. Moto G13 has been introduced with a 5,000 mAh battery and two color options.

Its price of 64 GB storage with 4 GB RAM has been kept at Rs 9,499 and the price of the 128 GB storage variant with 4 GB RAM is ₹10,499. We have used Moto G13 for a few days. Let’s know the review of Moto G13:-

Design & Build Quality:

Moto G13 comes with a flat-edge design. The design is nothing special but good. There is a triple rear camera setup on the rear panel. There is Moto branding in the center at the back.

The back panel of the phone is plastic, but the finish is like glass. We had the Matte Charcoal color for review, although you can also buy it in Lavender Blue color. The adapter, cable, and silicone cover are available in the box with the phone.

The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top and a separate slot for a memory card is also available. USB Type-C port is also available in this entry-level phone. In this case, this phone leaves behind many phones of Redmi, Poco, and Realme.

The phone has also received an IP52 rating. You will hardly find phones with this rating in the range of Rs 10,000. It has a single-speaker grill. The total weight of the phone is 181 grams. Overall, it will be called a well-designed phone in its range.
Moto G13 review: display

Moto G13 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. A punchhole cutout is available with the display. PANDA glass protection is available on the display. The display is quite smooth. Colors are good while watching videos. The touch of the display is good and there is no problem of lag in scrolling etc.

The display has also received Widevine L1 certification, so you can watch HD videos from Netflix and Amazon Prime comfortably. By the way, you can also watch 4K videos on YouTube. The peak brightness of the display is 400 nits. Overall, it will be called a good display in its price.

Performance:

Moto G13 has MediaTek Helio G85 processor which is a popular 4G processor in the range of Rs 10,000. The phone has up to 4 GB RAM and up to 128 GB storage. Android 13 is available with Moto G13, which is a big thing because phones with Android 13 OS will hardly be found in this range.

The phone will get one Android update and three years of security patches. There is no problem with hanging on the phone. There are some apps available in it that you can delete. This is a stock Android phone. You can also do decent gaming on it. There is no problem with watching videos and daily use.

Camera Setup:

Moto G13 has three rear cameras with which the primary lens is 50 megapixels. The second lens is a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The third lens is a 2-megapixel macro. An 8-megapixel camera is available for selfies. You can click good photos in daylight.

The macro lens is not the best but is okay. Many modes are available with the camera, which include Portrait, Pro Mode, Panorama, and Night Mode. Ultra-Res (50MP) mode is also available in it, but its performance is not satisfactory. The photo below has been clicked in this mode.

Apart from this, the most special feature is the dual capture mode for photos and videos. With the camera, you can shoot 1080-pixel video at 30fps. You can see some samples here.

Battery and connectivity:

There is no problem regarding connectivity in Moto G13. It has dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1. It has a 5000mAh battery which comes with 10W charging.

It takes about two hours to fully charge the phone, although in daily use the battery lasts comfortably throughout the day. The battery lasts for about 10 hours in an HD video loop.


Conclusion: Moto G13 Phone Review

Now overall, Moto G13 will be called a good phone in the range of Rs 10,000. With this, you get a Dolby Atmos speaker. Also, a 90Hz display and IP52 rating are available. Having Android 13 also makes it special.

Having a Type-C port in this range also makes this phone different from other phones. There are also phones like Redmi 12C and Poco C51 in this range but Moto G13 leaves these phones behind in many respects.
