Nothing Phone 1 vs Oneplus Nord 2T
Display
The Nothing phone 1 comes with 6.66 inches display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. On the other hand, OnePlus Nored 2T comes with 6.43 inches display with the same 1080×2400 resolution pixels as Nothing Phone 1.
The Nothing 1 has an OLED display while the OnePlus 2T has an AMOLED display which is clearly better than that of Noting Phone 1. If I talk about the overall display experience then OnePlus Nord 2G has the upper hand with its AMOLED display, both smartphones have the same resolution.
Camera
If I talk about the cameras of both the phones, the Nothing Phone 1 comes with 2 primary cameras; 50MP and 50MP. The OnePlus Nord 2T comes with three primary cameras; a 50MP main camera, 8MP for ultra-wide photos, and 2MP Mono Camera. Both phones have a single front camera. The Nord 2T has 32MP and Nothing Phone 1 has a 16MP camera.
Personally, I felt OnePlus Nord 2T clicked better photos than Nothing Phone 1 although the front selfies looked excellent from both phones.
Performance
If I talk about the performance of both smartphones, the OnePlus Nord 2T is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor, and Nothing Phone 1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus. OnePlus Nord 2T is equipped with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and Nothing Phone 1 comes with LPDDR5 8GB RAM.
Both smartphones can handle heavy games easily although you have to change the graphics setting to medium as they are powered by mid-range powerful processors. The temperature on Nothing Phone 1 is less than that on OnePlus Nord 2T while playing games thanks to the well-optimized Snapdragon processor.
Battery
Both smartphones are powered by a 4500mAh battery although there is a little difference in battery life. The Nothing Phone 1 has slightly better battery life than OnePlus Nord 2T. OnePlus Nord 2T can be charged very quickly thanks to its Super VOOC 80W charger that can charge the smartphone fully in just 30 minutes. On the other hand, Nothing Phone 1 comes with a 40W charger which charges the phone up to 100 % in 50 minutes.
Verdict
Both smartphones have good specifications and features. But the OnePlus 2T is clearly better than Nothing Phone 1 in comparison to specifications. But none can deny the fact that Nothing Phone 1’s unique patterns on the back make it different than other smartphones. If you are not interested in Glyph Interface feature of Nothing Phone 1 then you can consider OnePlus Nord 2T otherwise you can go with Nothing Phone 1 if Glyph Interface attracts you.
